RYSE stands for “Rehousing Youth for Success in Education.” Each day, more than 600 students in the Roanoke Valley leave school unsure of where they’ll lay their head that night. RYSE targets to the 80% of homeless children who are not eligible for government-funded homelessness intervention programs. The program provides resources necessary to help them succeed in the classroom, developmentally, and medically.
